First Time Buyer. How do I keep my Civic clean and looking good?

I just bought my first new car, and I want to keep it in pristine condition for as long as I can. However, I don't know where to start. All I know is that I should be tedious when I wash my car, and clean the inside a lot.

What are some tips and good products to keep the interior and exterior clean? I used dish soap to clean my old car. What are some good cheap products? Anything helps. Thanks!
