I give up. I went out last night to mess around with the settings, change it to auto-away lock, etc. I didn't do much to the display settings (I thought) but change the color from blue/green to violet and back to blue/green. All of a sudden, when I go the main menu it looks horrible with a white and aqua background! I went back in to all of the display settings and went through to restore everything to default, but couldn't change it back. I just tried again this morning to no avail....
