Hi,

Ran into a problem when I was on the highway today on stage 1 map 3. All the lights started to pop in my dashboard and I was going 70mph. I was really worried about what was going on, I wasnt even on sport mode and it was not letting me change it to sport mode. I took the next exit and looked at the code on KTuner. Turns out it was code p0172 (Running rich). I headed right back at home when I saw this.. I reflashed the car and all the lights went away. I started driving it after to see...

Engine just blew!!

So just driving Norma no hard acceleration and my engine blew at about 2800rpm. I have Ktuner MAP tune MAP intake and their downpipe as well. I literally just started out and shifted from 2nd to third and in 3rd and it blew. I had my AC running and i know they just came out with that service bulletin and when it’s on i can feel the engine running rough. I wonder if they will warranty out my engine or not cuz my aftermarket parts? Any help would be appreciated.

Hey all, so I'm in the market and very soon to buy a 2016+ Civic. I've got my eye on the 2016 1.5T, and already test driven a 2016 2.0 the other day. And it drove smoothly no complaints at all, not much to say there. This will be a long term vehicle, as well as my daily driver.

In regards to long term reliability, which one has the advantage? Even with regular maintenance of both. I'm leaning more toward the 1.5T, because it obviously has turbo, more power, slightly better mpg, and more...

Retracting parking brake with scan tool?

Hi guys,

I know there have been threads on how to retract the parking brake and piston manually when changing out rear pads. However, I noticed that there are scanner tools that retract electronic parking brakes for other makes of cars. I expect there must be support for Honda parking brakes in one of them already or maybe it's coming soon. I'm willing to spend some money on this--does anyone know of a tool that supports the Honda parking brake retraction command?

Miltek non resonated exhaust middle tip not being used?

So I recently installed a miltek non resonated exhuast and I love it.

It has three exhaust tips and I noticed that the middle tip is super clean compared to the two other tips on the end.

Is the exhuast defective or is there something I'm not understanding about the middle tip of the exhuast. Is it only used during boost??

The ens tips have your typical carbon build up, whereas the middle one still has a good shine to it, and very little to no carbon build up

Hey R family. Kind of an odd way to start off my first post ever on this forum but I finally threw up my hands after searching far and wide for the answer to my dilemma. Hello,

I am looking to see if anyone would be interested in selling 1 of the OEM Continental SportContact 6 tires they are not using. Would prefer to have around 50% tread left (at least).

I have a piece of metal lodged in one of my own. It’s holding pressure but I’d like to replace it sooner rather than later. Would buy a new one but I’m planning on upgrading wheels/tires soon.

Owner of 2019 Si coupe. 68 yrs old and driven manual transmission all my life. I have found going from 1st to 2nd gear being particularly jerky in this car. After 4 months I have discovered that placing sport mode on the jerky ride from 1st to 2nd has almost disappeared. Mechanically this makes no sense to me but even my wife, as a passenger, agrees that sport mode provides a smoother ride 1st to 2nd gear.
Is it possible that the gas pedal sensitivity being changed in sport mode...

Is it me or sport mode ??

Hey all,

Bought my Civic new last year in March, it's a 2018 EX-T, and in the near year and a half that I've owned it, by far my biggest gripe is issues staying connected to Android Auto. The only way I know of to enable Android Auto is via USB tethering, but every single day throughout the day I encounter times where just the slightest jostle of the phone untethers it and oftentimes re-plugging it in immediately will not reconnect it. I've had the same issue with several authentic OEM...

This one is for those of you that are tuned. Canned or custom.

So, we have another blown engine topic. Like most of the others, the guy said he was taking it easy at low rpm and he threw a rod.

The tuned crowd (myself included) know that most of these blown engines stem from some sort of prior abuse or bad tuning. The non-tuned members say we are all sitting on a time bomb and blown engines are inevitable.

does anyone have any information of what Honda changed in the 2019 LED headlights? I heard from another member here that for the 2019 Civics Honda made some changes or reconfigured them. Can anyone confirm this? Does anyone have any clear closeup shots on the 2019 LED headlights? I can’t find any.
