Picked up my new FK8 3 months ago in July and has been the best decision i've ever made; coming from a BMW M135i. Best car for me to get back into the Honda game after previously owning an EM1 & EP3.

Thought I'd start a thread as there isn't many FK8's on the UK forums.

TYPE R MPG CHALLENGE !!!

Starting a Type R-only MPG challenge. Let's add one more reason as to why these cars are so amazing. What's your best MPG??? This is your chance to show off to the world how incredibly slow and boring you can drive lol

Rules:
1. Must post a pic from the Fuel/Gas/Petrol/Mileage/Range Category on the Driver's Instrument Panel
2. Must have at least 20 miles on Trip
3. The most impressive numbers wins and can be MPG alone or a combo of MPG + miles driven.
Ex: 36 MPG w/ 50 miles is more...

Who all has a 2019 Sport and what front lip are you using? Also what other mods do you have so far? Wondering what all is out there for the 2019 model, I've found a lot of stuff doesn't fit the new Sport yet so needing some inspiration with what's available thus far.

2018 civic si turbo going bad

What’s sup guys, I have a 2018 civic si and was installing my downpipe when I noticed the oem turbo having shaft play. So I guess the turbo is gonna blow soon ? I have 21k, prl cobra with tsp race maf tune.

Is Honda MTF that bad?

I am wondering if Honda MTF is that bad.

I found shifting of my SI is good. However, I do not know better since my last manual car was a 1999 Honda Prelude (sold in 2004). So, I did not drive a manual for 14 years.

Since I do believe that full-synthetic will preform better than semi-synthetic, I will go ahead to replace the MTF with Amsoil. At least I did not read any adverse effects when members here change out the MTF with Amsoil.

Are there any differences in transmission parts in...

Not sure why I didn't do this months ago. Hell it's almost like driving an automatic LOL Anyone else turn this feature on in Hondata? how do you like it? Even my good friend who has driving manuals his whole life drove it and was like wow that's amazing. It does have a small learning curve though.

Just traded in my 18 SI on the 19 type R. What's the best upgrades to start with? The way I understand it the ECU needs unlocked before tuning so I guess that's on hold. Is the ktuner worth keeping from the SI?

Honda CVTs are relatively trouble-free, but ONLY when you keep the oil changed. I found lots of good info scattered all over these forums, so I’m just going to compile it here.

Tools & parts:
Ramps, jack stands, floor jack, Phillips head screw driver, stubby slotted screw driver, oil pan, 3/8 male pipe plug socket, breaker bar, 12mm socket, ratchet wrench, long necked funnel, 18mm crush washer, 4qts HCF2 fluid (or better)

Procedure:
Drive car to get engine to normal operating temperature....

Hello guys,
Currently I'm making this module for the Type R, but many folks asked if this will work on the SI, so I installed this module to a neighbor ( he has Civic SI) and worked as expected.

The DRL+ FOG lights allow the FOG lights to turn on automatically when the DRL lights turn on without the necessity to switch on the headlights. The device has a switch and you can disable or tun the device off at any time, When the module DRL +FOG lights is on the rest of the functionality remains...
